BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Time: each round you judge will take ~2.5 to 3 hours
  • Tech: stable high-bandwidth internet, dedicated computer with webcam
  • Webcam: must be activated for the entire time you are judging
  • Browser: Firefox, Chrome or Safari. (Microsoft Explorer and Edge DON'T work with StoaTraX.)
  • Training: click below based on your event

5 STEPS TO JUDGING

STEP 1: Know your Judging Times

STEP 2: Get a Ballot - 1 hour before your round This will only take a couple of minutes, then you are free until 10 minutes before your event begins.

STEP 3: Get Questions Answered

  • Go to Judge Help for all questions and assistance both before and after your round.

STEP 4: Go to your Competition Room

  • Click on the room number that corresponds to the one on your ballot.
  • Access your ballot on StoaTraX.com

STEP 5: Watch your round and fill out your ballot.

  • For DEBATE events, after you click "Complete Ballot," you are completely finished.
  • For SPEECH events, after you click "Complete Ballot," you must go to Ballot Return to review your ballots with tournament staff: BALLOT RETURN.
